Rogers sits right in the middle of Northwest Arkansas, with Bentonville to the northwest, Lowell and Springdale to the south, and Beaver Lake to the east. That location is why so many of my relocation clients end up here: an easy commute to the Walmart Home Office, quick access to I-49, and a lake that’s a short drive from almost any neighborhood in town.
Rogers also gives you range. It has a historic downtown with real character, a busy commercial and corporate district at Pinnacle Hills, and everything from first homes to lake-view luxury properties.
What Rogers Is Known For
- Pinnacle Hills. Pinnacle Hills Promenade shopping and dining, offices for many Walmart suppliers, and concerts at the Walmart AMP.
- Downtown Rogers. A walkable historic district with local restaurants and shops, plus the Railyard Bike Park nearby.
- Lake Atalanta. A city park with trails, picnic areas, and mountain biking, just minutes from downtown.
- Beaver Lake and Hobbs State Park. Boating, fishing, and hiking on the east side of town.
The Rogers Housing Market
Rogers has one of the widest mixes of housing in NWA. There are established neighborhoods and older homes near downtown, newer subdivisions on the west side around Pinnacle Hills, and lake-area properties to the east. Buyers who want to be close to Bentonville without paying downtown Bentonville prices often find a good fit here. The stats above reflect current MLS data for Rogers.
Rogers Schools
Rogers Public Schools serves most of the city, including Rogers High School and Rogers Heritage High School. Some addresses on the west side of Rogers can fall within neighboring districts, so I confirm school assignments for every home we look at.
